Hi, I’m Mara.

Rooted in my training as an Integral Master Coach™, I support mothers, changemakers and enterprising spirits in the times life powerfully calls us to alignment.

I write the Rebel Nurturing Substack where I explore ‘rebel nurturing’ as the way of being we need collectively in these times, often through the subjects of personal development, parenting, and ecological consciousness. As a community grief tender, I share my experience with this practice and its place in cultivating resilience and creativity. I host grief circles and vigils in-person and virtually.

I feel most alive working in relationship to help people actualize and embody their innate wisdom where it matters most in their life.

Impact

Mara is open, creative, present, non-critical and skilled in seeing the big picture.

I thoroughly enjoyed our time together, her listening skills and ability to join me in my language and way of being. The insights she had from hearing my thoughts were spot on.

I noticed a shift occurring in how I present myself in the world, and now see how to consciously choose the way to move forward and tune into what really serves me.

Mara, I can’t thank you enough for your gentle approach to coaching me. Each session I felt like you truly heard me and could put into words what I was feeling or trying to explain, but couldn’t always articulate. You’re compassionate, understanding and you helped me uncover layers of myself it would have taken me many more years to uncover on my own. Your suggested practices were insightful and effective and I loved being able to explore a new, much desired, way of being in this world with your thoughtful guidance. I’m so grateful to have worked with you.
— K.B.

I began my working life on Wall Street in environmental, social and governance (ESG) or sustainable investing, went on to pursue journalism, and throughout that time undertook personal and professional development to work within these environments at the human level culminating with a master-level coach certification in Integral Coaching®.

My work is unified by a mission to support the reclamation of soul sovereignty in our individual lives and collective communities (mine and others’) and through my direct work and that of supporting others leave a legacy of care, integrity and beauty.

I’m partnered and a mother of three young children. I tend my literal and spiritual garden and host grief circles on the ancestral homeland and unceded territory of the Abenaki and Wabanaki people—today known as Maine—where I live.
